WILDLIFE
You will see lots of Sea Birds and Seals, on a lucky day we spot Dolphins and occasionally a basking Shark too! All whilst taking in the spectacular Cornish coastline with plenty of opportunities to take photos.
FISHING
You will be expertly guided by our experienced crew, as we catch a variety of fish straight off the boat. All fishing tackle is provided, all levels of experience catered for.
CEREMONIES
Whether you are planning a goodbye memorial service for a loved one, or would like to tie the knot at Sea, we can create your Ceremony. Please call us to discuss your personal requirements.

FAMILY BUSINESS
As a family business you are assured a warm Cornish welcome. Darleen heads up our crew, all skippers are fully qualified and experienced in knowing this area ‘like the back of their hand’ you are assured of a safe, fun and informative experience. For all the local knowledge, stories, beauty and fishing spots you can’t do better.
SIGHTSEEING
Operating our boat out of Porthleven and Newlyn, we explore the area of coast from Mullion on the Lizard, across to Penzance and Lands End. Regular sightings of Sea Birds, Seals, Dolphins, and occasionally visiting Whales and Basking Sharks, although the wildlife is ‘wild’ and sightings obviously can’t be guaranteed!
FISHING TRIPS
On our fishing trip you can expect to catch a variety of fish including Mackerel and Pollock. All fishing tackle is provided so you can come and try fishing for the first time. If you are a more experienced fisherman, we can tailor the trip to create a challenging and rewarding experience!
THE MOLLIE MAY BOAT
The Mollie May boat operates out of Porthleven and Newlyn, our boats carry up to 11 passengers plus the Skipper. All are welcome aboard, babies, granny and the dog! Lifejackets are available on board but not compulsory to wear whilst on your trip. Our boats are all equipped with the latest sophisticated navigation and sonar equipment, so we can safely travel the seas and find the best sightseeing and fishing spots.
We are able to assist those with disabilities to get aboard, just give us a call and we will try to accommodate your requirements. For larger parties you can charter the whole boat and we can arrange a bespoke trip for you. Great for special birthdays, hen and stag do’s, memorials for loved ones or any other celebration.
CEREMONIES
Would you like to say a final goodbye to a loved one and scatter their ashes at Sea. We have been offering a Memorial at Sea service for a few years now. Crafting a bespoke ceremony as you say your last goodbyes, with time to reflect and celebrate their life aboard the boat with loved ones and friends. Please do bring food and drink aboard for a seaborne wake of your creation. For more info see our Ceremonies at Sea page. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Other celebrations such as weddings, hand-fastings, naming ceremonies, family gatherings can be arranged, just let us know your requirements and we will see what we can do. Our trips make a lovely backdrop for your photographs and memories.

When calling to book we will reserve your space on a trip and call the day before to confirm. We always operate according to weather, sea and tides to ensure our passengers the best possible experience, we don’t go out in bad weather. Sometimes we need to cancel and will re-arrange a trip as soon as the weather and sea conditions allow. We will always call and keep you informed of any changes.
We don’t take deposits, so please do honour our verbal agreement by turning up on time for your trip, there are always people waiting to come aboard and we hate to disappoint! If you can’t make an agreed trip then please do give us at least 48hrs notice.
Please remember we can’t take dogs from Newlyn, as it’s a working fishing harbour dogs are not allowed on the quay. Do let us know if you intend to bring a dog with you.
